She starts her career as VJ on different channels. Because she was gracefull lady so she try to work in drama industry she did not know how well she acts. She was born in Karachi so she studied in Foundation Public School but at the age of seventeen her family moved to united states. Then she get admission in University Of Southern California but unfortunately she did not complete her studies.
She starts her career at the age of 16 as a VJ on most popular TV channel. Mahira Khan first appeared in a Hum TV drama "Humsafar".
