He was born on 9 December 1973 in Faisalabad Pakistan we can say that as in 2016 his age is 43 Years Masha Allah. He starts his career when he was just 10 or 12 years old. He is the nephew of most famous Pakistani Singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Late. Actually he always attach to his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan so he live with him at every place where they go for singing qawali. He starts his career from Qawali and get too much appreciation from his fans. He was just a Sufi Singer in beginning but now he can sing any kind of song. He is not only famous in Pakistan. He is very popular and appreciate in all over the world. He also sings different Ghazals and other light music. He can not sing pop music. He is just a melodious singer and sing melodious songs.Rahat Fateh Ali was born in the family of Qawals. He did not face any difficulty i n his music career because his family background belongs to a music. His father and uncle sing qawalies in different occasions.
